Returns and Refunds

Unfortunately we do not offer exchanges or refunds for purchases online due to change of mind. In the unlikelihood that goods are sent incorrectly, we do offer an exchange or refund. For faulty goods, the fault will be assessed and then either  replaced or refunded.

If you would like to discuss an incorrect or faulty goods, please email hello@troupes.co.nz within 3 working days of receiving your order.

Sale or marked down items are not refundable.


We offer a flat rate of shipping of  $8 all paint and accessory orders New Zealand wide. 

Rural order rate is $12

$20 flat rate shipping covers heavy vintage items New Zealand wide.

Free shipping on any paint and accessory purchases over $150 New Zealand wide. 

All orders are tracked and traced, we will provide you with a seperate email with your tracking details.  Please check your junk box if you do not receive an email with this information. 

Allow 24-48hrs for order processing and then 5 working days for shipping. As we are often on adventures sourcing new products for the shop.

Unfortunately we are unable to ship outside of New Zealand.

All Vintage Furniture items are pick up only from our retail store by appointment.

Online and in-store

As Troupes is a small store and as such, our in-store and online customers are shopping from the same stock. If an item in our physical store is purchased and sold at the same time an online order for the item is placed, then the online item may be unfortunately unavailable. In this rare case, we will contact you as soon as possible to discuss offering you an alternative item or we will offer a refund.


All prices listed are in New Zealand Dollar.

On some occasions there could be errors made by our staff while adding products to the website, if we notice any error we notify the customers at the first instance. We reserve the right to cancel the order and offer you full refund.

If the order has already been shipped we can offer you some compensation based on the price which the product should have been charged at. If we are unable to come to an agreement with you (customer) we will get the goods picked up at our expense and offer you full refund.

We will not honor any incorrect prices happen due to human error, if you notice the price of any goods are substantially cheaper please email us at hello@troupes.co.nz to confirm the price before placing the order.

Secure payments 

We used shopify's online payment platform which is a secure payment platform that accepts Mastercard and Visa.  We do not store your credit card details.


We will not share you email address with third parties if you join our mailing list.  Once you have placed an order, you will receive an email confirmation and an additional email on tracking, please add us to your address book hello@troupes.co.nz. 


Sometimes due to unforeseen circumstances we will have to cancel workshops.  If this is the case we will notify you at a minimum 48 hours before the class commences and will offer a full refund or a store credit if you wish to purchase vintage items or milk paint.  

Sorry we are unable to give refunds once workshop is booked, but are happy to transfer payment to another date or give a store credit.
